Milissa is a tech savvy easy to get along with agent who fights for you in your transaction. She guides you through the process and puts you at ease. There are tons of real estate agents, so it is often hard to know who to go with. I can assure you from experience that she will not let you down and you will be very very satisfied with her performance. She is totally reasonable, super knowledgeable , handy with technology, and totally on top of things. She also has experience with rental properties which is huge if you want to buy an investment property. No other agent will pull any tricks with her on the case. When I was offered a job I applied for and really wanted, and was given less than 48hours to report out of state, I was faced with a huge dilemma! I was in the middle of a major restoration project (actually several) and had less than 48hrs to get my project done and report for my new job. I was faced with an obviously impossible task. I gathered what I could and moved out, only to have to drive back and forth on weekends, 235 miles each way, to work on what I needed to get done.After gaining my bearings from a sudden and drastic move, I realized I was going to have to deal with the issue of finding a Realtor. I've dealt with Realtor's on a smaller scale in the past and just knew this was going to be a painful process! A friend recommended a relocation company that got great reviews, and that relocation company provided me with two Realtor companies to contact. I was also informed that if I didn't like the two original companies they provided me with that they would furnish more until I found someone I was happy with. The first Realtor came and I was so desperate to get this started I said I'll use you. Fortunately for me, the relocation company's rules were I had to see a minimum of two Realtor's before I could choose someone (lucky for me these guys know what they're doing). Now this is very important so pay close attention. I had no clue about selling a house. Pretty much what you tell me (unless it's absolutely ridiculous) is pretty much what I'm going to go along with. The first guy pointed out that there was a house for sale right across the street from me for about 70,000 under the average price of a home in the area. Just up the street there was a fire in another home and the home sold for about 200,000 grand under the average asking price for a home in the area. The first Realtor stated this would affect the appraisal on my home and could cause me to lose money on the sale of my home. Even though it was obvious the two other homes were damaged and needed a total gut and rehab, the first Realtor just said lets hope for the best. Needless to say I was concerned since I had put tens of thousands into my house with upgrade's to include a beautiful gourmet kitchen. Then, having been forced to see another Realtor (lucky for me) I met with Milissa and her partner Reggie (the Dynamic Duo). These two were night and day from the first Realtor (even though he was a really nice guy). Milissa and Reggie were awesome! They walked through the house while we talked and laughed (totally down to earth and funny). I'm an excellent judge of character and I immediately felt like I could trust them with the sale of my home and that they knew exactly what they were doing! They immediately pointed out the two other homes that could affect the price on the sale of my home (like the other Realtor did). Both Milissa and Reggie showed passion and determination as they pointed out how beautiful my home was, and how they were going to fight to make sure the appraiser didn't under value my home because of the issue with the other two homes on the same block. I found it impressive that though I was not too worried about it being under valued (because of my lack of knowledge and experience in the home selling business and how it worked) Milissa and Reggie seemed almost upset that this could possibly happen to me. Milissa started going though the list of things she would do to prevent this. She also advised me she would provide the appraiser with hand delivered documentation of homes that have sold in the neighborhood that would reflect positively on the sale of my home. Please keep in mind that this is not her job or responsibility as a Realtor. The amount of money that she put in my pocket on the sale of my house was huge to me, but a small amount to her according to her percentage. All of her hard work was not done for personal financial gain on her end, it was done as a benefit to me. I learned so much from Milissa and Reggie about selling a home and what to expect! Milissa and Reggie also fought with other Realtor's who tried to low ball me or ask for ridiculous give backs. They were confident and held their ground making sure they were there every step of the way! In the end, Milissa and Reggie got me $6,000.00 over what I was asking for! That's right $6,000.00 extra and like I said, huge to me, nothing to them except the satisfaction of having taken care of their client! The other Realtor was asking for 10,000 less than Milissa's original asking price! I can only put so many characters in this review so I don't have much room left even though I can go all day. If you want a Realtor team that will go the extra mile for you then you owe it to yourself to give Melissa a call. NOW PAY ATTENTION, she is not pushy, she will not make you regret calling her but please give her a call to see what her and Reggie can do for you.
